Insulation: 100% fiberfill, 120g. Seat: Imitation leather, 60% nylon, 40% polyurethane.

Love wearing these pants, However the tag inside does not have clear washing instructions, just says to avoid softener. So I washed them in cold water with a few soft under armor tops and pants, put in dryer on air dry with no heat and it appears small areas of the fake suede seat rubbed off! Urg, should have turned inside out I guess. Very disappointed on how these washed up for the price.

These pants have been by far the best I have ever worn. They are very comfortable. I wear them almost every day in the winter. Even over my jammies for early morning feedtime. They are waterproof. As for riding they are super comfy and warm. They have held up to daily chores and wipe clean with a damp cloth. I have washed them in cold water on permanent press and hang to dry. They still look new! I am a size 6 in jeans and the size small fits me perfectly.

I have practically lived in my Polar Breeches all winter. With a pair of regular weight riding britches underneath they have kept me toasty warm. I appreciate the detail that went into their design. They are comfortable, not at all bulky and have been great to ride in.
Regarding fit: I wear a medium. They are a little long but once they are fastened around my boots that hasn’t been a problem.

Well for the guys out there these pants are great! I am 6’4 with a 34 waist. Ordered the XL size and plenty of room as well as length and plenty of extra waist room to accommodate i would bet a 40" waist. Like the description and other reviews, these pants are a great investment and high quality construction. The kind of thing that you can tell will last. Get you a pair!

I ordered a medium size. I am tall 5 ft 7 and slim. I found the waist size too small and the legs too wide. They look like they were designed for a person with an hour glass figure in spite of one of the previous comments. I like the way they are made but am not happy with the proportions

I ordered a pair of these and (still) am really looking forward to riding in them. HOWEVER the sizing is way off. According to the size chart measurements,, a size small should fit me. When it came and I tried it on, it was very much too small for me. I am going to try a large and hope it fits. Maybe the size chart indicates outside measurements of the pants?? They seem well made and as I said, I am looking forward to riding in them — just need to find a size that fits me.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pants! I have just ordered my second pair. My first pair lasted 3 to 4 years and I am ordering my second pair as I have worn the first pair out from so much use. I work at the barn 6 days a week no matter the weather conditions in addition to riding and teaching lessons. I really like that they are wind and waterproof. They are very warm without being overly bulky. I find that I need less layers on the upper half of my body because they keep me so warm. The 2 way zipper makes it easy to take my muck boots off and switch to my Mountain Horse riding boots without any hassle. They are very comfortable and the full seat makes them very comfortable to ride in. They are not very noisy when I am moving around in them which is a plus. I have highly recommended them to everyone at the barn.

Love these. Just ordered again; first pair still good after 5 yrs. Many special features, esp the ergonomic knees/seat. Critical for good riding; most winter pants lack that. Comfy! Complete severe weather protection. Quiet fabric. Trim, smart fit; not bulky. Excellent value. Pair with Original MH Jacket for perfect winter riding.

These pants are wonderfully warm and have tons of neat features – they are really well thought out. I never thought I would say that a pair of pants was a technological marvel. However, it would be so nice if you had petite sizes for women who have curves. I am 5’2" but have an hourglass figure and had to get the large size to fit my hips, so the pants are quite long on me and are still a bit snug in the seat and thigh. I could definitely stand to lose a few pounds, but I am probably in better shape than 80% of the women my age. A number of my friends were very interested in these pants but didn’t buy them because they would never fit in to them.

Regarding sizing: I’m 5’6", 125 lb, and wear a size 6 or 8 in pants. I ordered a medium and they were huge — easily 8-9 inches too big in the waist. It seems like the sizing chart is off? I love the pants and will exchange them for a small. I hope that works! If anyone has advice about sizing, please let me know. I’ll be exchanging them soon.

I was so excited for these pants, i’m 5’2″ 125 pounds and the smalls fit perfect. Full side zips and stirrups to keep the legs down while riding. My first time wearing them (never washed) the fake suede started flaking off quite a bit!
