I love my Mountain Horse Sovereign Boots. Not only can I choose from three beautiful colors, but I can now get a little different with the patent croc top of the LUX version. They look amazing and feel amazing.

Loved these boots for the time that they worked…True to size, the tooling and leather design on the outside is beautiful. However, not even a year into owning them, the zippers started to break. The rest of the boot was still in perfect condition, but the zippers started to get bunched up/fold at certain points, and pretty soon they started to come undone from the bottom up. After about a month of successfully being able to just shove the zipper back to the bottom after my rides, I was no longe able to get the zippers up or down. I tried to get them repaired by a leather shop, but was told that I may as well buy another pair of boots for the price. I was bummed by this because I really did enjoy these boots for the time that I had them. It wasn’t an issue with the snaps, but I think the zipper used with these boots is just too flexible in relation to the already quite flexible fabric.
